Try Eddy Before You Subscribe

Before you subscribe to Eddy Voice Remote, test the commands you use every day with your own equipment. A device appearing in a list is a starting point; the useful test is whether its controls work in your room.

Trial length, plan prices, billing dates, controller limits and cancellation terms must match the information shown in your current Eddy account. Check the sign-up page and account terms before making a purchase.

Start with one device

Choose one television, receiver or player. Check that your installed Eddy Bridge version supports its control method, then add and test a small set of buttons. The controller and activity guide explains how these pieces fit together.

  1. Confirm that the device works with its original remote or manufacturer app.
  2. Test one Eddy command at a time through the web interface.
  3. Where supported, test explicit ON and OFF separately, including ON when the TV is already on.
  4. Test playback or input selection only if your device integration provides those functions.
  5. After the individual commands work, combine a short activity and test it from different starting states.

Choose commands that matter to your household

Pause, resume, a volume step and a named input are useful candidates when your integration supports them. Channel changes and app launching depend on the exact device and software. A Netflix button in an older example is not a promise that every current streaming app or television supports the same command.

Check the subscription before the trial ends

Record the trial end date displayed in your account and check which plan covers the number of controllers you need. Review the total charge, billing interval, renewal date and cancellation policy shown at checkout.

  1. Controller allowance: choose the plan shown in your account that covers your tested setup.
  2. Billing: confirm the plan’s total charge and billing interval before subscribing.

Get help with a specific test

If a command fails, note your device model, Eddy Bridge version, connection method, the command you tried and what happened. Contact support@tinyelectrons.com with those details. Do not include account passwords or private pairing codes. If you need more time to evaluate the setup, ask support whether an extension is available; an extension is not guaranteed.

Review or cancel your subscription

Open your Eddy account and review the subscription controls and confirmation shown there. If you cancel, keep the confirmation and check the resulting access and billing dates. Contact support if the control is missing or you cannot confirm the outcome. Do not rely on a reminder email as your only record of when the trial or subscription ends.

Start with the Eddy guide, then test one supported device before expanding your setup. The V2 cross-platform agent is separate development work; an old trial example does not establish its public availability.
